Dar Al Ber’s students steal the limelight in Ras Al Khaimah Holy Quran Memorisation Award
Won 7 top places in the 18th version of the award
DUBAI; Dar Al Ber Society unveiled that seven female students of “Dar Al Ber Project for Holy Quran Memorisation” won seven different top places in different categories of the 18th edition of Ras Al Khaimah Award for the Holy Quran. The event was organised recently under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saood bin Saqer Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah at the theater of the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development in Ras Al Khaimah.
The charitable organisation also pointed out that 13 of its female students, enrolled in the centres and branches run by the project, participated in the different categories of the award during last March and have been honoured in the final ceremony of the annual competition.
Asma Al Rys, Head of the Women Sector of the society, said that student Nafysah Fadllah, from the society’s branch in Ras Al Kaimah, won the first place in the 20 Chapters category, Maryam Muslim Abd Alkareem, from Al Mamzer Centre for the holy Quran Memorisation of the society, placed first in the last 10 Chapters category. Ameenah Yousif Ibrahim, from Nad Al Hamer Centre in Dubai, of the project, placed second in the 10 Chapters Category, Blgees Mohammed Thabit, also from Nad Al Hamer Center, won the 4th place in the 30 Chapters Category.
Whereas the 4th place of the last 10 Chapters went to Basmallah Mahmoud Makawi, of the society’s Branch in Ras Al Kaimah. Mahrah Abdallah Al Hamadi, of the society’s Branch in Ras Al Khaimah, placed third in the 5 Chapters category.
Finally, Sana Malik, of the society’s Branch in Ras Al Akhaimah, took the gold in the Al-Hadith al-Nabawi memorization category of the award.
