Innovation policy

In compliance with the strategic directions of the United Arab Emirates aimed at transforming the concept of innovation into sustainable work and corporate culture, and as a contribution to strengthening the country’s position on the global map in the field of innovation, so that the UAE is at the forefront of countries supporting humanitarian and charitable works through innovative works and ideas.
The Dar Al Ber Society, represented by the Board of Directors, has resolved to move forward to provide innovative charitable, humanitarian and cultural services in accordance with the vision of innovation emanating from the fifth strategic objective of its declared strategy, which states: ‘Promoting a culture of creativity and innovation among human resources in order to develop the operations environment,’ taking into account the field of application. ‘For Innovation Management in the Dar Al Ber Society to develop its community services and charitable, humanitarian and cultural works.’ This is to ensure the sustainability of providing services that meet the needs of customers, including donors and beneficiaries, and exceed the expectations of all partners and interested parties in an integrated way, taking into account the principles of global innovation, and achieving the desired benefits, through the following directions:

1) Providing innovative systems, processes and services that enjoy flexibility, efficiency and effectiveness that ensure the continuity of the Society's business and a high proactive ability to deal with all circumstances.

2) Commitment to laws and legislations related to intellectual property rights and innovation policies, through the establishment of methodologies and policies that ensure effective application and commitment to preserving the intellectual property rights of the Society and its human resources and honoring its innovators.

3) Providing the necessary support for qualifying innovative human resources based on future foresight methodologies.

4) Investing in ideas that support achieving added value through sustainable innovation in all services provided.

5) Create an innovative environment supportive of human resources to unleash their talents and creativity.

6) Relying on the risk and opportunity management approach in addressing internal and external issues and developing innovative ideas according to their requirements.

7) Enhancing communication and partnership with research and academic institutions to support the process of renewal and innovation within the Society and provide opportunities to develop its human resources through it.

8) Building partnerships and cooperation with various relevant governmental and private institutions to implement joint innovative projects.

9) Positive participation in events and activities held by various governmental and private institutions in the field of innovation in order to learn about best practices in various fields, especially technological ones, and benefit from them in developing the Society’s services and operations.
