Dubai, UAE – Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum has generously contributed Dh46,000 to Dar Al Ber Society in line with the UAE celebrations of the 46th National Day.

The kind gesture, directed to the “Abaya of Giving” project recently proposed by Eng. Azza Sulaiman, FNC member, was part of the “Vision of Giving” scheme launched by the Emirates Vision Media Network in collaboration with Dar Al Ber in the debut of the Year of Giving “2017”.

Sheikha Sheikha handed over the contribution to the Dar Al Ber Society, Ajman branch, in the presence of Eng. Azza Sulaiman, Hassan Saleh Al Ali, acting director of the Ajman branch, and Abdullah Al Shehi, media adviser and CEO of the Emirates Vision Media Network.

Al Ali extended his profound appreciation to Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed Al Maktoum for her incessant and plentiful support that is “normal for the Sheikhs and people of the UAE.”

“They have set the most inspiring examples in giving and wide opened the door for helping and relieving vulnerable people locally and worldwide.”

The revenues of the “Abaya of Giving” project will be pumped into the “Orphans Care” campaign based in Somalia and Senegal, he added.

“These will be used in carrying out development projects and initiating charitable and endowment drives, spanning orphans’ sponsorship, education, accommodation, and treatment.”

Al Ali paid tributes to the tireless efforts of Eng. Azza Sulaiman and her tenacious support to charitable projects and human initiatives all over the country.

“She has set a motivating example of the Emirati woman with her unusual white hands, humanitarian touches, compassionate spirit, which all reflect the exemplary vision and policy of the prudent leadership re women empowerment.”

Al Ali also thanked the Emirates Vision Media Network for their remarkable participation and distinguished media and humanitarian impact in so many functions, events, and sectors.
