Dubai, UAE – Dar Al Ber Society (DABS) has efficiently chipped in the first edition of the Aqdar World Summit hosted by Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates on November 21-23.

The first ever platform created for people from all over the world on moral education was held under the patronage of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, in the presence of politicians, decision-makers, experts, specialists, parents and students.

The three-day anti-terrorism function focused on the role of moral education at academic and public interest entities in morally combating extremism and fanaticism.

The summit brought together educators, learners, parents, societies, innovative concept developers and technologies for the advancement of the existing education system while preserving and reassuring the moral values.

The congress provided a premier platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered with solutions adopted in the fields of moral education and advanced education systems.

Dar Al Ber, a Gold Sponsor of the event, participated with a big delegation led by Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouie, Chairman, along with senior officials and staffers from all sectors and departments.

The effective participation was in line with the Society interactive national and community role, and its full awareness of the impact of the discussed issue in boosting safety, security, as well as comprehensive and sustainable development in the country.

Al Mazrouie said they gold-sponsored the summit which saw thinkers, scholars, and researchers from the UAE, Arabia Gulf countries, and worldwide. The Society also held a special pavilion on the sidelines of the exhibition themed ‘The Role of Moral Education in Academic Institutions Regionally and Internationally to Combat Global Challenges’.

The Summit themed ‘Nourishing Minds, Flourishing Nations’, spanned various conferences, workshops, interactive sessions, poster presentations, an exhibition that all featured the national efforts seeking to counter terrorism, fanaticism, and extremism, underlines the importance of obeying Rulers.

Al Mazrouie said Dar Al Ber exhibited and distributed an array of its religious, ideological and social publications issued by the department of activities and events at the Society pavilion at the educational ideological conference.

These included a series of six specialised lectures by six eminent scholars in the UAE on the importance of showing obedience to the Rulers, combating extremism and deviated ideologies, and many other valuable lectures and readings.
