Dubai, UAE – Dar Al Ber Society (DABS) has announced that one of the students enrolled in its ‘Al Ber Quran Memorisation Project’ has ranked first in the ‘National Memoriser’ popular Quran competition.

The local contest, a main branch of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, has come to a close on October 27, according to Khalid Sultan Alolama, Al Ber Project Manager, male section.

“19-year-old Abdullah Nabil Obaidullah Ali Obaid, an Emirati national, has mesmerized the arbitration committee with his perfect memorisation and tuneful recitation.”

The distinguished student has pushed back all male and female contestants who reached the finals of the 14th edition of the annual Quran competition from all emirates and different ages, and seized the top rank, he added.

“Abdullah, with his exceptional performance, has far excelled all the 13 full Quran memorisers who were representing a variety of entities from all parts of the country.”
