Dubai, UAE – Dar Al Ber Society (DABS) has launched a special and comprehensive campaign to support the orphanages it had earlier established worldwide, and attract more contributions to this dear segment of the society and thoroughly secure their needs.

The leading charity Society, now sponsoring about 30,000 orphans in 20 countries and 950 in the UAE, spares no effort to develop the services being rendered to them in all aspects of life, and support them by all possible means.

Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouie, Chairman of Dar Al Ber Society, said the promising charity drive is aimed to ensure an honourable life for the orphans registered with Society all over the world.

“We are all set to promote the concept of integrated and compassionate society locally and abroad in line with the directives of the prudent leadership and DABS vision to spread tolerance and happiness as strategic inevitable bases in any society.”

The drive is part of Dar Al Ber passion to provide a comprehensive care for the orphans that covers all aspects of life, including health, education, accommodation, as well as self and professional development, he added.

“The Society, with the help of philanthropists here, and in collaboration with UAE-accredited charity organisations around the world, has founded a number of orphanages in several countries for the benefit of this important segment.”

Imran Mohammed Abdullah, Head of Charity Projects Sector at Dar Al Ber Society, said the campaign is meant to support DABS orphanages worldwide, operate and manage them by specialised staff.

“These orphanages are aimed to secure accommodation to those vulnerable orphans, sponsor them, protect them against deviation, extremism and terrorism, cover their needs, and help them be good and efficient citizens.”
