Memorisers rank first, second in GAIAE competition

Dubai, UAE – Quran memorisers of Dar Al Ber Society have shined in the competition of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE), securing the first and second positions, along with other advanced ranks.

The Authority has recently accredited Dar Al Ber for its pioneering ‘Al Ber project’ and honoured its representatives as part of a special ceremony at the Armed Forces Officers Club in Abu Dhabi in June.

Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of Dar Al Ber, said the male Quran memorisers of Dar Al Ber have brilliantly seized seven advanced positions, including the first and second in the competition.

“Abdulaziz Abdullah Bilal managed to come first in the 20-part category, while Abdullah Abdulrahman Mallahi ranked second in the 10-part branch, and Jamal Yusuf Al Shurafa seized the second position in the five-part section.”

This exceptional winning is the fruit of relentless effort and dedication all the yearlong, he added. “The programme staffers spare no effort to encourage and train memorisers on a regular basis to tightly memorise and perfectly recite the Quran.”

Khalid Sultan Alolama, Project Manager, paid tributes to Dar Al Ber tireless support to Quran memorisation. “All staffers sincerely secure the right environment for Quran memorisation and make a success of the programme.”
