Dubai, UAE – The wife of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum has contributed Dh1 million as Edeya or Eid gift for the orphans of Dar Al Ber Society.

The annual kind gesture is meant to bring happiness to the little orphans listed on the auspicious occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouie, Chairman of Dar Al Ber Society, said the humanitarian initiative reflects the white hands of H.H. Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum for the orphans of the Society whom she thoroughly takes care of.

“The generous Eid gift, in complement of the orphans’ ceremony that Dar Al Ber organises every year, helps secure the needs of the listed orphans across the country during the feast.”

Al Mazrouie, on behalf of Dar Al Ber orphans, paid tributes to H.H. Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum for her white hands that speak volume and make them happy during the Eid.

Abdullah Ali bin Zayed, the Executive Director of Dar Al Ber Society, said they deposited the D1 million Eid gift in the accounts of the listed orphans all over the country. “All the kids are so grateful for the generous touch of H.H. Sheikha Hind.”
