Dubai, UAE: Dar Al Ber Society (DABS), committed to philanthropic work locally and abroad, is running a variety of 30 charitable and humanitarian projects in the Republic of Benin.

An official delegation from the 37-year-old charity association paid a visit to the African country where they were briefed about the updates of the 30 philanthropic projects being assumed by Dar Al Ber there.

Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of Dar Al Ber, said the promising schemes cover a span of social and religious sectors in Benin. “These are being carried out in collaboration with accredited entities in a number of disadvantaged villages and towns there.”

The trip, led by Al Falasi, included Abdulkarim Jaafar Al Hassan, Projects Manager, Hassan Saleh Al Ali, Office Manager of Projects Manager, and Ahmed Al Hammadi, Media man and Photographer – DABS.

Al Hassan said the visit is in line with the policy and new plans of the charity projects department which are based on direct communication with strategic partners and foreign entities all over the world.

“The field visits help Dar Al Ber follow up the development of the charity projects agreed upon. All the projects must be up to the blueprints, designs, specifications, and prices earlier decided.”

Al Hassan added that the visit covers accomplished or ongoing projects by the authorized entity there. “We sometimes urge our partners to speed up the procedures to get the projects completed as early as possible or as scheduled, yet according to the standards requested.”

The delegation had an extensive meeting with the entity authorized for carrying out the projects, following which they gave their remarks and recommendations, he stated. “We discussed the best possible ways for carrying out the projects as due.”

Dar Al Ber delegation had, meanwhile, visited the several villages where they briefed about the charity projects being done there. “Such follow up trips are inevitable and gives a boost to Dar Al Ber charity projects aborad.”
