Dubai, UAE: Dar Al Ber Society, committed to philanthropic work locally and abroad, has contributed free Iftar meals to 450 vulnerable people at three disadvantaged areas in Somalia during the holy month.

The beneficiaries of the Iftar project included 300 people in Mogadishu the capital, 150 at Hargeisa-2 and 90 at Hargeisa area, according to Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of Dar Al Ber.

“The project, aimed to ease low-income people’s suffering, was successfully carried out in collaboration with the Al Sunnah Charity Centre, Islamic Life Authority, and Ahlul Hadith Centre.”

Imran Mohamed Abdullah, Head of Charity Projects with Dar Al Ber, said the pioneering program reflects the Society’s passion to spend the charities collected on eligible people in every nook and corner. “This is in line with the directives of the UAE prudent leadership and deeply-rooted heritage.”
