Dar Al Ber Society has announced its contribution to supporting the "Hope Step" program, implemented in cooperation with Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, as part of the humanitarian efforts led by the United Arab Emirates under the guidance of its wise leadership to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The contribution is part of the "Hope Step" program, which aims to rehabilitate individuals who have lost limbs as a result of the war in Gaza by providing prosthetic limb manufacturing and fitting, as well as physical therapy and medical rehabilitation services. The program seeks to help beneficiaries regain mobility, restore their independence, and reintegrate into their daily lives and communities.
The program is implemented through the UAE Floating Hospital in Al Arish, Egypt, where it provides a comprehensive rehabilitation system that includes medical assessment, prosthetic limb fabrication and fitting, physical therapy, continuous medical follow-up, and coordination with the relevant authorities to expand the number of beneficiaries and ensure that these services reach as many injured individuals as possible.
H.E. Abdullah Zayed Al Falasi, Chief Executive Officer of Dar Al Ber Society, affirmed that the Society's contribution reflects its humanitarian mission and steadfast commitment to supporting initiatives that create a lasting impact on the lives of those affected. He noted that the "Hope Step" program embodies the UAE's values of generosity, solidarity, and humanitarian giving, while enabling beneficiaries to regain their independence and return to leading normal lives.
He added that Dar Al Ber Society's total contributions under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 have now reached AED 34.1 million since the launch of the humanitarian relief efforts for those affected in the Gaza Strip. This reflects the Society's ongoing commitment to supporting UAE humanitarian initiatives and strengthening the values of solidarity and compassion by providing relief, healthcare, and rehabilitation assistance to the Palestinian people.
For his part, Hammoud Al Affari, Director of UAE Relief Operations under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, stated that Dar Al Ber Society's contribution represents valuable support for the "Hope Step" program and further strengthens the UAE's humanitarian efforts to provide specialized rehabilitation services for injured people in Gaza. He added that the program continues to expand its medical and rehabilitation services to reach a greater number of beneficiaries and improve their quality of life.
This contribution reflects the strong partnership between Dar Al Ber Society and Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 in implementing sustainable humanitarian initiatives that support the rehabilitation of injured people in the Gaza Strip. It also reinforces the UAE's longstanding humanitarian approach of extending assistance to the Palestinian people and promoting the values of generosity, compassion, and human solidarity.
