Dar Al Ber Society Launches 2026 Udhiyah Campaign “A Rite and a Mercy” with Broader Humanitarian Outreach

Dar Al Ber Society has launched its annual Udhiyah Campaign for 2026, themed “A Rite and a Mercy”, with a total cost of AED 4.8 million. This year, the campaign plans to distribute over 12,269 sacrificial animals, supporting roughly 520,795 recipients throughout the UAE and in 20 countries globally.
Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Chief Executive Officer, emphasized that the initiative continues the Society’s 47-year legacy of aiding vulnerable communities. He confirmed that the campaign aims to address the needs of disadvantaged families and ease their burdens during Eid Al Adha, particularly amid ongoing global economic challenges.
Al Falasi noted that the project will cover the following countries: Benin, Kenya, Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Ghana, India, Egypt, Malawi, Gambia, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Togo, Chad, Moldova, Senegal, Tajikistan, Albania, and Nepal. The campaign will be implemented in cooperation with UAE embassies and in partnership with 31 accredited humanitarian organisations in the beneficiary countries, in addition to implementation within the UAE.
A Qualitative Addition to This Year’s Campaign
As part of its efforts to further develop its humanitarian initiatives and maximise community impact, Dar Al Ber Society announced the launch of a variety of charitable packages under the 2026 Udhiyah Campaign. This qualitative step reflects the aspirations of donors and contributors while addressing their diverse charitable interests through flexible and comprehensive giving options.
In this context, the Chief Executive Officer of the Society stated that the 2026 Udhiyah Campaign introduces a significant qualitative enhancement, reflecting the notable development in the Society’s humanitarian field strategy through the launch of integrated charitable packages aimed at expanding the scope of giving and improving the efficiency of reaching beneficiaries.
He explained that the diversity of these packages aligns with the Society’s vision of broadening channels of goodness and facilitating community participation. The campaign includes the “Eid Joy” package, which covers Udhiyah inside and outside the UAE, in addition to food Baskets and Eid clothing.
The campaign also includes the “Orphans” package, dedicated to orphan sponsorship and care, as well as the “Ongoing Charity” package, focusing on sustainable projects such as water well drilling, mosque construction, charitable endowment projects, and Quran printing initiatives that benefit thousands of Muslims worldwide.
In addition, the campaign includes the “Ifatr Meals” initiative provide Iftar meals for fasting individuals on the Day of Arafah, reinforcing the values of solidarity and humanitarian compassion. It also includes the “Water” initiative aimed at providing clean water in arid regions and during the summer season, contributing to alleviating the suffering of those in need and improving their living conditions.
As part of efforts to enhance the comprehensiveness of the campaign, the Society has also introduced the “Zakah” package, which focuses on collecting and distributing Zakah funds to eligible beneficiaries through precise and carefully structured mechanisms that ensure transparency, efficiency, and delivery to the most deserving groups.
The campaign further supports medical cases through the broadcast of the “Emarat Al Khair” programme during the last ten days of Dhul Hijjah on Noor Dubai Radio, with the aim of highlighting humanitarian cases and encouraging community contributions towards covering treatment costs, thereby helping alleviate patients’ suffering and improve their quality of life.
This integrated campaign framework reflects the Society's commitment to offering a diversified giving ecosystem that meets the aspirations of donors and contributors while maximising sustainable humanitarian impact both within the UAE and abroad.
In line with the Society’s commitment to performing the Udhiyah ritual in accordance with Sharia regulations and to the highest possible standards, it has introduced a variety of participation options to facilitate the process for donors and maximise the intended humanitarian impact. Donors may select the option most suitable in terms of location and cost, including: slaughtering within the UAE (AED 800), slaughtering and distribution outside the UAE (AED 350), and slaughtering outside the UAE with distribution carried out within the UAE (AED 490).
Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Chief Executive Officer of Dar Al Ber Society, further noted that donations to the Udhiyah Project are available through multiple accessible channels, including the Society’s digital platforms, Dar Al Ber representatives at shopping malls, and customer happiness centres located in Dubai, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah, in addition to the toll-free number (80079), ensuring ease of access and a variety of convenient contribution methods to support the project.
