with a Focus on Supporting Displaced Families in Refugee Camps
 
Dar Al Ber Society has launched its annual Udhiyah Sacrifice campaign for the year 2025 under the name “A Rite and Mercy,” with a total allocated budget of AED 5,686,678. The campaign aims to distribute more than 17,000 Udhiyah, benefiting approximately 427,000 individuals across the United Arab Emirates and 13 countries worldwide. This year, special focus has been placed on providing humanitarian relief to displaced persons in refugee camps.

Mr. Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, CEO of Dar Al Ber Society, affirmed that this charitable initiative is a continuation of the Society’s 46-year legacy in supporting vulnerable communities. He emphasized that the campaign is designed to meet the basic needs of underprivileged families and ease their burdens during this important religious occasion, particularly amidst ongoing global economic challenges.

Beneficiary Countries:
Mr. Al Falasi noted that the campaign covers the following countries: Uganda, Gambia, Somalia, India, Benin, Togo, Ghana, Egypt, Senegal, Malawi, Nigeria, Chad, and Kenya, in addition to implementation within the UAE. The initiative is being carried out in collaboration with UAE embassies and 19 accredited humanitarian organizations across the beneficiary countries.

Strategic Focus on Displaced Populations:
Highlighting a key enhancement in this year’s campaign, Al Falasi stated that Dar Al Ber is intensifying its field relief operations by prioritizing displaced communities in refugee camps. The Society aims to deliver targeted and impactful assistance to the most vulnerable segments, addressing urgent humanitarian needs.
 
One of the primary focus areas is Kiryandongo Refugee Camp in Uganda, which hosts around 78,534 displaced individuals, including 2,297 children and 2,457 people of determination. These individuals live under challenging conditions that demand urgent and sustainable support.

To meet these needs, the Society has allocated 1,000 sacrifices for distribution in the camp during Eid Al-Adha, along with 3,136 food baskets to cover essential family needs and ease the daily hardships they face. This reflects Dar Al Ber’s commitment to humanitarian solidarity and its efforts to reach underserved populations through reliable partnerships and needs-based relief programming.

Multiple Participation Options
In a move to facilitate broader donor engagement, Dar Al Ber has made available various contribution packages to suit different preferences and budgets:AED 350: Slaughter and distribution outside the UAE, AED 370: Slaughter outside the UAE, distribution inside, AED 950: Slaughter and distribution within the UAE.
 
The campaign also features complementary charitable projects, including mosque construction, orphan sponsorship, artesian well drilling, Eid clothing, and the “Debt Relief for Prisoners” initiative supporting inmates and their families. In addition, the campaign includes the distribution of food baskets and sacrifice charity donations to the needy, all aimed at promoting social solidarity and improving the quality of life for vulnerable families at home and abroad.

Additionally, contributions can be made through the smart platforms of Dar Al Ber’s strategic partners, including: Dubai Now app, YallaGive Platform, Jood platform, Instashop, Zabehaty app.
