Dar Al Ber announced a new sustainable endowment project, at a total cost of 42 million dirhams, while opening the door for donors and philanthropists to contribute to supporting the project, implementing it, and achieving its charitable and humanitarian goals.

Dar Al Ber confirmed that the aim of the new endowment project is to strengthen the charitable endowment projects package of the Society, work hard to sustain it, support its sources of income, and consolidate its charitable, humanitarian, and societal role in providing the needs of the poor and people with limited income, inside and outside the UAE and to promote the path of sustainability and community development in general.

Dr. Muhammad Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society, explained that the endowment project is a residential building consisting of 14 floors, the proceeds of which go towards 7 categories of charitable endowment projects, which are the endowment of mosque maintenance, the endowment of well maintenance, the endowment of education support, and the endowment of education support, endowment for iftaar, endowment for medical cases, endowment for printing the Holy Qur’an, and the endowment for operating orphanages.

Dr. Muhammad Al-Muhairi said: "The annual return of the new endowment project is expected to reach 7%, which contributes effectively to supporting the Society’s sources of income and revenues from the charitable endowment portal and enables it to continue charitable and humanitarian work at a high pace, launching projects and implementing initiatives, which is in favour of the poor and the needy.

Dr. Al-Muhairi, invited businessmen, donors, and those wishing to participate and various institutions to donate and support the charitable humanitarian project, through the approved platforms and channels of the Dar Al Ber: the Society's account in Dubai Islamic Bank (001520500855701), Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (10068249), and the Society’s website and representatives of the Society in shopping centres and customer service centers throughout the UAE in Dubai, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.

He also indicated that the Dar Al Ber is keen to develop endowment projects within the country, in compliance with the purposes of Islam and in response to the state's policy and approach in the humanitarian charitable sector, and an implementation of the directives of our wise leadership, due to charitable endowment's various benefits and many positive repercussions, the most important of which is the realization of the concept of sustainability in charitable work, in the interest of community development, and meeting the requirements of the needy and vulnerable social segments.
