The Dar Al Ber Society announced the launch of its annual campaign for sacrifices, today Wednesday, in preparation for the upcoming Eid Al-Adha, aiming to expand the campaign and collect the largest possible number of sacrifices and sacrificial meat, as an implementation of the blessed ritual and to achieve its purposes, represented in providing that meat to the poor, in accordance with the legal regulations, in a number of countries worldwide, and the needy and low-income people in the UAE, and to result in consolidation of societal cohesion and solidarity among all segments of society.

Dr. Muhammad Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of the Dar Al Ber Society, said: "The Society has begun preparing for the sacrifice campaign early this year, in order to make it a success, achieve its goals and enhance the gains of the needy and the poor, inside and outside the country, and to include the largest segment and numbers of beneficiaries possible. The specialized teams and crews of the Society are working in full swing to ensure the success of the charitable campaign, to achieve and supersede previous years goals, successes, indicators and social impact."

Inside and outside the UAE

Dr. Al Muhairi explained that the campaign program includes 4 categories, the first is dedicated to slaughtering sacrifices, of Australian sheep, in the UAE and distributing their meat, at a price of 940 dirhams per head. The second category is related to the slaughter of camels and the distribution of their meat inside the UAE, at an estimated price of 5,500 dirhams per head, while the sacrifices of sheep are slaughtered outside the country and their meat is distributed inside the country, within the third category, at a cost of 450 dirhams per head, while the fourth category is allocated for the slaughter of sacrificial sheep, and the distribution of its meat outside the country, at a value of 350 dirhams for the sacrifice.

Appeal

Dar Al Ber appealed to those who will sacrifice and donors to take the initiative to provide sacrifices for the specialized campaign, within which the Society works in light of the legal rules and regulations, with the highest levels of quality, organization, accuracy, sincerity and transparency, as it has been doing over many years, seeking to serve the people and take the burden off them in the best possible way.
