pastingThe Dar Al Ber Society confirmed the intensification of its preparations for the charitable season for the coming month of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr, and the continuation of the work to launch the annual Ramadan campaign inside and outside the country, for the current year (1443 AH / 2022 AD).

Dr. Muhammad Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society, said: “The Ramadan campaign covers the UAE and several countries in different continents around the world, in line with the Society’s policy and approach in charitable, humanitarian and developmental work, in accordance with and subject to the country’s policy and vision of its leadership.”

He stressed that all the committees tasked with preparing for the blessed month are currently working in full swing, to prepare and implement the charitable campaign in an exemplary manner, befitting the status of the month of Ramadan. Ensuring the achievement of the goals of the Ramadan charitable and humanitarian season, developing the campaign’s activities and initiatives, enhancing its performance, creating new ideas and initiatives, and expanding it to cover larger numbers of the poor and the afflicted outside the UAE. As well as the needy and those with limited income inside the country, adding more successes and gains to the Ramadan campaign, launched by the Society annually, for more than 42 years, through its charitable and humanitarian work.

Dr. Al Muhairi pointed out that the Dar Al Ber Ramadan campaign seeks to implement various charitable projects and humanitarian initiatives in countries and regions in need, covering vital service and developmental areas, such as water supply projects, drilling wells specifically for the benefit of drought-affected countries, and providing iftar meals throughout the days of the holy month. As well as providing Eid clothing for poor families, sponsoring orphans, building mosques, supporting projects for productive families, promoting educational projects, building centres for memorising the Holy Qur’an, and sponsoring Quran teachers, which benefits tens of thousands of needy and fasting people.

Al Muhairi appealed to philanthropists and charitable donors to support the Ramadan campaign this year, to contribute to implementing its humanitarian and charitable goals, which are aimed at extending helping hands to the poor and the needy, meeting their living and material needs during the holy month, alleviating their suffering, and covering the largest possible number of people and beneficiaries, in accordance with the legal guidelines and procedures, applied in the country, and to the requirements and standards of governance, to which Dar Al Ber is committed to.
