Eng. Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dar Al Ber Society, confirmed that the UAE, with its wide-ranging humanitarian charitable sector, in its governmental and popular wings, has achieved great successes and embodied huge gains, which led it to be at the forefront of the world's countries in the volume of foreign aid in relation to the volume of income.
 
It earned it a distinguished international reputation in the field of charitable and relief work, which was known among the people and countries of the world, which was established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may Allah have mercy on him.

Al Mazrouei added: "The International Day of Charitable Action annually represents a vital and important station on the agenda of the UAE, its charitable sector and its humanitarian institutions to increase efforts and to strive to enhance sincere national efforts to help the poor, extend help to the needy and relieve the afflicted.
 
As well as to contribute seriously to development and sustainability in poor and less fortunate areas around the world, pointing to the UAE’s participation in the international day with a track record of charitable work, charity, construction, modernization, development and sustainability, in wide, extended and various areas of our contemporary world."

For his part, Dr. Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of the Dar Al Ber Society, said "that the International Day of Charity is a pivotal station for studying the achievements made over the past years and decades in the field of Emirati charitable work, and the serious search for creative projects and the generation of new and innovative ideas in order to serve the poor and people with limited income in the world, meeting their needs and alleviating their suffering.

In addition to working to give our charitable institutions and our humanitarian sector more added value and technical, practical and administrative gains, an implementation of the teachings and values of our true religion in doing good and helping everyone in need, whatever their religious and ethnic identity.

To have an honest and transparent representation of the policy of our country and its humanitarian mission to the people of the world. And in compliance with the vision and directives of our wise leadership, which also constitutes a faithful reflection of the values and traditions of the people of the Emirates inherit in their love of doing good and helping others."
