Dar Al Ber Society and iWater General Trading Company signed a cooperation agreement, to launch a special avenue for goodness and charity with the smart application ‘iWater’. It will be under the name of ‘Dar Al Ber Society Baskets’, to enable the families of the company’s customers, to donate to provide the food needs of people with limited income and vulnerable segments of society.

Muhammad Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber, the Society’s representative in signing the agreement, explained that “The ‘Baskets of Dar Al Ber Society’ service in the smart application allows customers of the company and users of the application in mobile phones and smart devices to choose that box and donate baskets of food for the benefit of needy families and individuals.”

Al Muhairi stressed that the society continues to implement its plans, which aim to expand and strengthen its community partnerships with institutions of the public and private sectors and civil society in the UAE,in order to provide the needs of the needy and support families with low income and serve the country and society, by contributing to the consolidation of sustainable community development and happiness.

Pointing out that the agreement states that it aims to strengthen the community partnership between the two parties and serve the local community, adding that the new humanitarian charitable service in the smart application includes the company taking over the operations of delivering food baskets, which are donated by its customers and clients, directly to the beneficiaries from the needy, families, humanitarian cases, and according to the database of eligible cases provided by the society to the company, stressing the importance of the private sector joining forces with the government sector and charitable institutions in order to meet the needs of needy societal segments.

For his part, Ibrahim bin Shaheen, CEO of iWater, said “We value the charitable and humanitarian role played by Dar Al Ber Society on the internal and external levels and through the implementation of development programs and sustainable humanitarian projects.

Bin Shaheen indicated that the cooperation agreement also provides for the company to provide support and donation to the Dar Al Ber Society through the smart application, of the amount of 7.5 dirhams for each bill of sale for each basket donated and directed to the society, whether large, small or medium.
