Dar Al Ber Society announced the most prominent achievements of the women's affairs sector in the Society, during the past year (2019), which were launched, benefitting 3353 participants, from citizens and residents on the territory of the state, and of different ages, nationalities and social strata.
Asmaa Abdul Qadir Al-Rayyes, head of the women's affairs sector in Dar Al Ber, explained that the sector’s achievements, which is specialized in serving women, enhancing their qualifications and supporting the empowerment process, and serving society in general in the UAE, included the holding of 18 attendance courses, with the participation of 1955 participants.
Asmaa Al-Rayyes referred to the most important achievements of the women's affairs sector in "Dar AlBer" during the past year, the completion of 38 students from different nationalities memorizing the entire Qur’an, while the number of the female students participating in Al ber Project for the Memorization of the Qur'an reached 1398 students.
Al-Rayyes indicated that the activities of the women's sector in 2019 included launching and organizing courses, workshops, forums, programs and lessons in sharia science and specialized activities in religious and professional affairs, educational, social, family and moral issues, and community, educational and recreational activities, were organized by all departments, which are under the umbrella of the sector.
She also noted the sector’s participation in a number of Quranic prizes and competitions in the country, and its winning, represented by the female branch in the Al Ber Project for the Memorization of the Holy Qur’an, in the gold category in the annual assessment of the Quran memorization centers by the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Work in Dubai for the year 2018, and obtaining the honor of his Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, "May God bless him."
