Ras Alkhaimah:
A number of orphan children in Ras Al-Khaimah, registered with the branch of the Dar Al ber Society in the Emirate, who benefit from the Society's services in sponsorship and care, presented live stories and narrated realistic situations that occurred with them or happened to others, reflecting the values of "tolerance" in the Emirates, and others shed light on stories for tolerance from the biography of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions, may God be pleased with them, within a meaningful competition directed to the precious segment, titled (Attitudes on Tolerance).
Testimonies and stories of tolerance narrated by orphaned children have been translated into English, to ensure the interaction and benefit of non-Arabic-speaking orphans from the contest participants, which aims to promote the concept of tolerance among young people, and motivate them to speak and deliver before the public.
This came during a recreational educational event for orphaned children, at the Arab Port in Ras Al Khaimah, organized by the Dar Al Ber Society branch, under the title (And tolerance remains), in the context of the last activities of the society’s branch in “The Year of Tolerance 2019”.
Ali Abdullah Al-Shehhi, Director of the “Dar Al Ber” branch in Ras Al-Khaimah, explained that 30 orphans participated in the special event, from different ages and cultures, and included artisan parts, such as decorating pottery, henna engraving, and drawing on faces, as well as touring in the civilized location, residential tourism (Mina Al-Arab), playing and entertainment, and eating lunch, and concluded with distributing valuable prizes to the distinguished and interacted during the educational, cultural and recreational items.
Al-Shehhi pointed out that the event won the admiration of the participating children, and enjoyed the interaction of visitors and residents of the region, especially from foreign tourists, who shared "some orphans" with some items, in a vivid picture that embodies the culture of tolerance in the state.
